Hi. After installing my range extender, my cellphone showed as a device. No there are no devices found. Why is that, does it mean I am not connected to the extender?

It is possible router's WiFi signal is not that weak and devices are still connected to main router .
You could change a different SSID / wifi name for range extender and manually connect device to the range extender.
