What's the model number of the TP-Link router? If you forget the password to login to the router, you need to restore the router to factory defaults by pressing and holding the RESET button as follows:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/140/

 

After the factory reset, please reconfigure the router and connect to the internet again.
