Hi,

 

1. I'm trying to update the firmware version as I have the information the version 1.0.10 Build 20210513 rel.63256 is available to download.

But every time I try to download it by clicking on the Update button in the router settings, it shows me a message informing a download error (unable to download).

** I tried with the wifi off and wired connected to the router.

 

Is/was anyone else facing this issue?

 

 

2. Another related question:

In the router settings, the latest firmware version available is 1.0.10 Build 20210513 rel.63256.

But when trying to manually download the update file in the tp-link page (https://www.tp-link.com/br/support/download/archer-c6/v3.20/#Firmware) the latest version available is Archer C6(US)_V3.20_201117 (2020-17-12).

 

As you guys can see, there are two different versions number, so I don't know which one is the latest, from the webpage or from the router settings?

 

** I'm from Brazil.

Here you can grab Archer C6(US)_V3.20_210513 update. Unzip and proceed with manual update.

The link is from Australian support portal. For some reason the FW for C6 v3 was not available on the US portal.

Can you verify is your Archer C6 a US version or EU version? You can find it on the router bottom label, next to the model number.

BTW, if it shows failed to download the firmware from cloud, you may try to change the internet DNS server setting on the C6 to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then confirm again.
