[Solution] Disable Onemesh Hidden network
This Article Applies to:
TP-Link Routers that supports Onemesh, such as Archer C6/A6/C7/A7/AX10/AX20/AX6000/AX11000, etc.
Background:
Some customers report their Onemesh routers are emitting a hidden network, which makes them confused and nervous as they cannot turn it off manually on the router web GUI.
The hidden wireless network is used to build up the mesh wireless network system, and it cannot be detected by the common wireless devices. You can refer to this article for more details:

Just like the existing Deco mesh package products, the specific hidden network with high-intensity random password can guarantee the security of the network. So no worries.

However, if you still want to disable the Onemesh hidden network on the router, update the router firmware to the latest, and you will get the option to switch it off.
Models below have already added the Onemesh option on the latest official firmware, which can be downloaded manually from the TP-Link website, or updated via the router web GUI / Tether app:
Archer A7_V5_201029 and newer versions
Archer C7_V5_201030 and newer versions
Archer A6(US)_V2_210226 and later versions
Archer C6(US)_V2_210226 and later versions
Models below have a beta firmware to disable Onemesh:
Note:
1. Please check the device label to verify the country code and hardware version of your device first, and choose the correct file to download and install.
2. For those who experience an unstable 2.4G wireless disconnection issue, it is also suggested to install this beta firmware to disable Onemesh, then monitor the connectivity.
For other models that support Onemesh, there will be new official firmware to add the Onemesh option in the near future. Keep an eye on the official website or router web GUI for the new updates. We will update here also if the new models add the feature later.
Note: We as always strongly recommend our customer upgrade their TP-Link devices to the latest official firmware, you can try the beta firmware posted by our TP-Link Admins/Officials unless the official firmware doesn't resolve the issue you experience.
