port forwarding can only forward to connected devices?

 

But I am using xiaomi router to do wifi bridging. The device connected via wire cable to xiaomi rounter and stay in same dhcp space with the tplink rounter's dhcp space, but it did not showing up as a client device in tplink admin interface. Then when seting up port forwarding, I cannot selection that device/ip as internal ip, as only client device can be selected.

 

Can you guys make the admin/user set any ip as internal port forwarding ip?

Hi, Did the wired client have to connect to the Xiaomi router, would it be possible to wire to satellite Deco M9 plus directly?

And is the wired client the only device connected to the Xiaomi bridge or will you see the Xiaomi router as an online client on the Deco APP?

========xiaomi router have more ports, so it is a better choice to place it in my office, as i have device in office.

 

And is the wired client the only device connected to the Xiaomi bridge or will you see the Xiaomi router as an online client on the Deco APP?

========= I can see xiaomi router is another client on deco app.

 

Thanks, could you guys change the app interface to make ip can be freely inputted? web admin interface is also needed, so every thing on cellphone is kind of pretty hard.
