I am having issues with Archer C20. Whenever I leave my router unused it gets disconnected from WAN automatically and everytime I have to go and save internet settings for the connection to work again.I did tried changing connection from automatically connect to manual but the problem still persists. Is the problem with hardware?

Is it an EU version or INWISP version? You can confirm this by checking the router bottom label.

 

Ensure the firmware is up-to-date:

If it is the INWISP version, here is the latest firmware for you:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/269216

 

Who is your ISP? Is the modem always online? Please verify this by connecting a computer directly to the ISP modem with an Ethernet cable and monitor for some time.

   It is INWISP and I was using another tp-link router with the same ISP and it had no issues like this....will update the firmware from the above link once and update after some time.
