I've bought the Deco P9 set and set it up and everything works fine except my Eneco Toon (a smart thermostat).

I does connect to the WiFi, is visible in the Deco app and approachable in the local network however it won't connect to the Eneco Service Center.

In one of the faqs (https://www.tp-link.com/nl/support/faq/2879/) it says to disable mesh, which I did, still no luck.

I made a hotspot on my MacBook (so it still went through the Deco P9's) and connected it through that network and it works fine which tells me it has nothing to do with ports.

I've also read that the Toon will only work on 2.4Ghz so the Guest network now has only 2.4Ghz enabled, still nothing.

Could it be the Toon doesn't like seeing multple networks with the same name and is there something I can do about that with the Deco?

I can't just have one Deco serve a guest network right?

Any other suggestions?
