Well basically my internet at home is bad but we got the range extender but i can't seem to connect it to my phone?

May I know do you want to connect RE to a wifi router or conect to a Hotspot WiFi on a mobile phone?

Factory reset tp-link range extender : press the reset hole for 10 secs with RE powered on
