it remain off until you manually turn it on (not very Smart for a Smart Plug)

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

The default mode of the Tapo plus is 'off' after the power outage so it would remain off when power is back;

We already have a plan to optimize this feature and please keep attention to the later firmware upgrade;
