Hi, can I please be guided how to use the larger wireless unit of the powerline kit as a range extender to my existing router.

I dont want to or cant use a powerline as its in a different circuit.

I cant seem to login directly to the wireless unit even with right credentials and reset

The Wi-Fi powerline unit can not work as a range extender (if you mean wirelessly connected to router).

It is recommended to exchange to a RE with retailer if return window is still open.

Or you could consider using the wireless powerline unit as an AP , this is plug and play:

Topology: Router ---<Ethernet>---Wireless powerline unit
