[Solution] Archer VR2100 Auto Reboot issue

This Article Applies to:
Archer VR2100_V1, Archer VR600_V3
Issue Description/Phenomenon:
Some Customers reported that the Archer VR2100/VR600 may suffer from random reboots automatically several times a day, or multiple times a week. They found all the LEDs on the front of the VR2100/VR600 will flash in a little bit, and the Wi-Fi network of the modem disappears at that time, no device can get online at that period.
Available Solution----Updated on 17 Sep. 2021:
Please install the following firmware in this article on your modem, then monitor if the auto-reboot issue persists:
Archer VR600_V3 build 20210623
If some customers still encounter the random reboot after installing the above beta firmware on your modem, report back by submitting a ticket via email with the Subject ‘TP-Link Community- [Forum ID 262804] Archer VR2100 Auto Reboot’, or leave a reply on this thread. In either case, be sure to provide the following information:
1. Reboot frequency and timing before and after installing the above firmware:
2. When did you purchase the modem, when did the auto-reboot issue start to happen?
3. Where are you based, and who is your ISP?
4. Did VR2100 work on the wireless router mode or DSL modem router mode? connection type is on PPPoE or Dynamic IP?
---if it is on DSL modem router mode, is it ADSL or VDSL?
Let us know if the beta firmware fix the problem, thank you.

Hi, we have forwarded your case to the senior engineers already and they will help us decide whether a replacement with Archer VR900 would be a better choice or any other solutions they could provide.
But it seemed like you had not replied to the email yet.
So did you receive an email from TP-Link?
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Too late, I've sent it back to Amazon and got a full refund.
I won't be buying your products again.

@Dogzdinner I'm past my Amazon return window and am waiting for an update from support.
I now have my VR2100 working as a router only, as that's more (although not totally) reliable.
Product specs are great, but reality is the opposite, unfortunately.
Not only poor quality but their promises sum to Zero.
They even offered to send me a WiFi repeater or EoP device as compensation for the time (many, many hours) I've spent helping them to debug their appalling quality firmware. That hasn't materialised either.
I certainly wouldn't recommended TP-Link either. For home use and especially in commercial application.

@Dogzdinner P.s. my one star Amazon review reflects my findings and observations, and hope yours does the same.

@AllanB I bought mine last November! Got on to chat with Amazon, pointed them in the direction of these forums and got a refund on my card immediately!
As long as it is under 12 months old they are obliged to either repair or refund. Once they realised it is a known problem, they chose to refund!

For information, just received another Beta and it has the same problem as before. Somewhat random reboot after a few hours with no dsl connection afterwards.

I'm having the same problem as most folk in this thread - Firmware Version:1.5.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 210722 Rel.37847n Hardware Version:Archer VR2100 v1 00000000, and reboots every 1-3 days. On my old router I had line rates of ~38Mbps, its down to 19-21 due to the frequent reboots. I'm in the UK on talktalk, the reboots have happened pretty much since I purchased the router in early 2020 but I couldn't return it as it's critical for homeworking. TPLink, please help!
