May I know how often did CPU spike to 90-99? Where did you see that? Please share with us some screenshots, thanks.

Please check if there are some high load activities in the network when this issue happen, what if you close that activity or application?

How many devices are connected to the WR941HP network? Try to reduce the clients, then check again.

When did you purchase the router? Did this issue happen when you began to use it, or it happened recently? Does the router touch hot? Are you able to ping the router from the computer connected to it?

I dont know what high load activity you mean is? in my screenshot just 6 devices, and 3 idle handphone, 1 tv with youtube, 2 working laptop just use browser (sometimes only 1)

purchased around 2 years ago, and just recenly , and its not hot at all and of cource i can ping it.

It is suggested to reset the router to factory defaults by holding the reset button on it until all the LEDs go off then on, reconfigure it from scratch, leave all the settings by default, only build up the internet access and secure the wireless network, then confirm the connection again.

BTW, how did you recover the connection when it loses the internet? Do you need to power cycle the router?
