Model: Archer C5400X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2

Hi, I replaced an Orbi (RBR40) + Satellite (RBR30) in a small house due to capacity limitations, +/- 50 devices connected. These include an IP camera system, gaming consoles, laptops, 4K smart TVs, etc., spread around on the house. I got advice from the hardware store to replace the system with an Archer C5400X, which is supposed to have a much better range and capacity than the Orbi system. In general, the whole network performance improved, and the Archer system is never above 35% of usage on any of the four processors. Nevertheless, the WIFI network coverage is shorter, and now I have two blind spots on the house. Can you help me to identify the best WIFI extensor for the Archer? Is the Archer compatible with OneMesh extensors?

@CharlesX21

These are OneMesh capable devices. Unfortunately C5400X is not one of them.

The good new is that when you're choosing a RE, you're not restricted by this list and can choose whichever you like.

@terziyski it's a shame such an expensive router underperforming to a 5-year NETGEAR entry level router system.
