I'm interested in buying a HS100 to connect to a KC200 outdoors. Is the HS100 or the mini version designed for outside?

Hello @niwde88, 

 

The HS100 or the mini version are not waterproof. They sustain water sprinkles, so if you really want to use the Smart Plug outside, you should keep the Plug covered with the protected cover it came with or buy an outside Smart Plug Protector.

I don't think so because the smart plugs from tp-link already come with a protected cover.
