I spent a lot of money on the TPLINK Archer AX11000 but I just found out they've removed the ability to limit device bandwidth in exchange for QoS? Now not only does QoS just straight up not work, but the removal of bandwidth limiting is just straight up stupid for how ridiculously useful it is.

It would be literally the only extra feature most people would want from a router, being able to stop obnoxious housemates who don't understand the meaning of "bandwidth" from hogging it all. Meanwhile, I'm trying to watch a livestream only to see I'm buffering like crazy whilst one of said housemates is downloading and QoS is set to streaming. What's the point? Bring back individual bandwidth limiting!

@Zooka

Hi, the Archer AX11000 does not support bandwidth control (limit bandwidth per device), while it supports QoS as you have noticed, you can refer to the below instructions to get the configuration guidance:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1708/

We have feedback to the related department, and the bandwidth control feature will be available on the wireless routers in the future firmware update, but we cannot provide you an ETA, we cannot know which model will have it at the moment.

You are suggested to pay attention to the official website, or the new firmware notifications on your router web GUI for any new firmware updates.
