Question about main - satellite toplogy

Dear crowd and tp-link team,
I´m new with my Wi-Fi environment Deco M9 Plus and do have following question:
My internet access is in ground floor with the connected main Deco.
Satellite Decos are in first and second floor. The Deco in second floor connects to main Deco
Is there a possibility to connect a satellite Deco to another satellite Deco because main Deco is far away?
I do not have internet access / network cable available in 1st floor so this Deco can not be the main Deco (as far as i understood).

It is not possible, yet, to tell Satellite Deco which Deco to connect to. It will prefer Main Deco as long as WiFi signal strength between them is adequate.
This issue is discussed extensively on this forum and we hope TP-Link will add that feature in the future firmware.
Till then, is signal really too weak between second floor Satellite Deco and Main Deco to try workarounds, or is it good enough to wait till TP-Link delivers new firmware, which could be months and months away?
What do you see for Signal Source in Deco app for second floor Satellite Deco? This is what's on mine Satellite M9 connected to Living Room Main Deco, as an example:
In my case, signal strength between these two is excellent or very good.
