I cant seem to connect my router using the ethernet cable what do I do

If router and range extender are connected by cable, it should work in AP Mode,
Please login to range extender 's Web UI, and Click Mode in the top right corner of the page. Select Access Point and click Save.
Then connect router to RE by cable.
