[Troubleshooting] Slow Internet Speed with Deco Devices

There are different situations of the slow speed issues, please refer to the following suggestions provided:
Some notice before we run the speed test:
1. Make sure every Deco unit is properly placed and any enclosed space is not recommended;
2. If you are using a wired PC to test speed, please make sure both the Ethernet cable and PC are gigabyte supported;
3. If you are using a wireless device to test speed, make sure the wireless device is 5Ghz supported;
4. Speedtest in "Deco APP>>>MORE menu" measures the maximum speed of the main Deco and it doesn't mean all devices connected to Deco could reach that speed.
5. Speedtest in Deco Lab measures your cellphone's real-time speed, the results of this speedtest should be the same as Speedtest App of Ookla
Methods and Steps to verify speed:
1. Use Ookla Speedtest App or https://www.speedtest.net to measure Internet speed.
2. Verify maximum broadband speed by connecting a Gigabyte PC directly into the ISP Modem first;
3. Verify wired speed into the Main Deco after verifying the ISP Modem's maximum speed;
4. Disconnecting every wireless device if you are trying to measure the maximum wireless speed of Deco units;
5. Always reconnect Wi-Fi on your cellphones/laptops every time you perform a speedtest.
Troubleshooting steps:
1. Remove QoS settings: Deco APP>QoS>(Set Application priority to Standard, Remove all high priority devices, set the Bandwidth to 1000Mbps upload and 1000Mbps download);
2. Turn off the UPNP feature in the Deco app: Deco APP>More>Advanced>UPNP;
3. Download the Wi-Fi Analyzer to check wireless channel interference;
4.Turn off the low power mode if you are using iPhone;
So after the testing, if the speed is still slow, you could leave me a private message for notification with the following details:
1. the speedtest results and Deco network topology;
2. the model number and operating system about the speedtest devices;
If you have any other ideas to improve the speed, please feel free to post here.

Hi, your current firmware is 1.1.8 which is an ISP-customized firmware in Philippine.
Now, the latest firmware for Deco M4 is 1.5.0, or 1.4.3 in some places, have you ever asked the service provider to update the firmware for you?
By the way, since you mentioned that the other one worked ok, so the instability and slow speed issues only existed on the satellite Deco, the main unit was good?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
I have an issue that I don't know why is happening.
I have a 3 story building, I have connected 9 M5 decos so far. all of them except one are connected to the main deco through Ethernet. I think I've covered the entire area. However, there are few rooms that don't get a good signal even though they are near the decos.
the only reason that I can think of is if there is a sort of wireless wave conflict. but I can’t specify the channels for each deco.
I really don’t know what the issue is and doubt that adding decos will solve the issue.
when I say dead spots I mean very low speed. my network speed is 500mbps and I get this 200-400mbps from my phone when I'm near the decos or in other rooms. but in these particular rooms the speed becomes very low. we can't have online meetings or watch videos.
below are the drawings for GF and for one flat (I have two identical flats).
to confirm, all decos are shown in the app that they are connected to the main deco via Ethernet. I have unmanaged switches to connect some decos,

Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.3 Build 20210203
I have recently upgraded my internet speed from 100MBps to 300MBps. Once upgraded, my internet speed seems to be even slower than the original speed especially those from satellites. While my main Deco can hit 300MBps, two of my satellites could not.
I am staying in a double-storey. First satellite is on the same floor, placed above a tall shoe rack but right below the stairs. The second satellite is placed on the second floor, on a desk surrounded by various PC gears. Another issue is that the second satellite kept picking signal source from the main deco even though it's weak. Instead of the first satellite which is right between the main deco and second satellite.

Hi, 200m/s wireless,260m/s wired speed out of 300m/s contract are quite acceptable.
How many online devices do you have?
But 5-6m/s from the 3rd Deco is very slow. Could you please provide a picture of your network topology, such as the main Deco on the ground floor, then one satellite Deco on each floor?
Please also send me a picture of the signal source strength on the 3rd Deco, such as:
Could you please also connect the laptop to the 3rd Deco directly to check the wired speed as well?
