Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.3.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 170809 Rel.42095n

I've copied the Firmware version information(0.3.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 170809 Rel.42095n)  from the footnote on TP-Link System Tools page. On the Support page the most recent firmware upgrade is ArcherVR2800(EU)_V1_201103. Is my current firmware out of date?

Yes, but if you don't have any issues using the device, then it's not necessary to upgrade.
