Hi, I've tried everything and talked to everyone. Is there a way to bypass the lock to downgrade or use DD-WRT? 

All firmware by tplink or dd-wrt come up as invalid bin file. Changing name of the bin does not help. Tftp would brick it since its locked

Is there an issue that you are experiencing with the C7 current firmware? 

 

It is actually not suggested implementing a third-party software into the Archer C7, which will void the warranty, and we will no longer provide the support for it.

 

However, if you do want to upgrade the DD-WRT firmware into your C7, you may search online to get some help, as we cannot provide any guidance on this.
