Hi, I am using this beta version framware on my MR6400 V5 and in only 4G mode it's good I can choose bands manually, but when I locked router in 3G only mode, the manuall Band search option will disappear, why I can't choose any band in 3g mode, the router mR6400 can use B1 and B8 in 3g mode. And my operator has this two bands I have checked it. how can I switch between bands in 3g mode ?

@Kevin_Z

 I tried this beta version on newly purchase archer mr400 (ac1200) in btw upgrading my device the power shut down and my upgrade process stuck and my device got fully dead thanks to amazon's 7 days replacement policy so I replaced my device with another.

So do it at risk if the product is under warranty or you are lucky like me.

Is this beta working or not I don't know if it really works in archer mr400 so reply to me asap.

I also want to try this beta but I don't be fooled?

Hi guys! I am jumping on board here to also ask when the official firmware update

that includes the band choice option for MR600 v1will be released?

I have installed the beta and tested different band combinations and

it just seems pretty natural that this function should be part of the normal

firmware update. Note: this thread started like almost 2 years ago!

I bought my MR600 v1 here in Sweden in July of this year (8 weeks ago).

I think that is more easy to humans go to Mars than you release an official firmware.

If I take so many time to release a firmware my boss fired me in a few weeks....

@Ashik_k

Hi, sorry for the delay.

I checked from the cloud server and it seemed like you have updated MR400 V4 to the beta firmware already.

So is everything going on all right?

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link

Hi, I have installed Beta version not V4 I have installed it  on mr6400 V5 , it's worked good, but some little delay in network recognizaition, and I think net speed is a little slower than the stable version. But I think it was good and you can just do some simple fix to it to work like as stable version as lasted fremware for mr6400 v5, just fix this problem, when I locked network to 3g mode, band selection option will disappeard, band selection just was available for 4g not for 3g, please add this option for both 4g and 3g, I need band selection for 3g too, I installed lastest stable framware again, please do that simple fix to beta version and release the stable version of band selection in two 3g and 4g mode as soon as possible, we are waiting for that. Thanks 👍

@Kevin_Z

Tried updating my MR400(EU) ver 3.0 with the beta firmware to get manual band selection, but the update ends with an error 4503 "The uploaded file was not accepted".

My current firmware is 1.16.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200414 Rel.62997n, and I have absolutely no idea why I have installed it and where I got it from. Maybe the beta firmware can't be installed on top of current firmware, because the version number is lower?

Is there anything I can do, as I truly need the manual band selection as sometimes the MR400 chooses a slower and weaker band from a more distant tower.
