Model: Archer T3U
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1030.22.202.2018

First of all, my reason to buy/use this "TP-Link, Archer T3U, AC1300 Mini" Wi-Fi adapter is my notebook's onboard adapter is not supporting 5 GHz signal so I can't use more than 35-40 MBit, instead of 100 Mbit which my operator provides.

When I plug the Wi-Fi adapter to USB 2.0 slot, I'm getting lower download speed than my onboard Atheros Wi-Fi adapter.

(I don't know if it is revelant with USB version.)

When I plug the Wi-Fi adapter to USB 3.0 slot, it's seems to working fine until when I try to connect to my network. Than it gets crazy. Acting like I'm plugging out and plugging in again every 3 seconds.

I downloaded the driver in the CD which was in the box. I'm using Windows 8.1.

When it is plugged into the USB2.0 port and connects to the 5G network, how about the wireless negotiation speed on the computer? Check it as below and show us the screenshot:

It is also suggested changing the router's 5GHz band channel to 36,40,44, channel width to be 80MHz to check again the speed.
