Model: TL-WR840N
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 4.17 v0001.0 Build 200709 Rel.33396n

I have 50Mbps internet plan. When i am using lan cable i am getting around 48-49 Mbps but when i am connecting using wifi i am getting only 20-22 Mbps... I have changed the router channel like 1,6,11 and width 40Mhz but still same. For me channel 3 and width 40Mhz works well for only 2 days after that same problem i am facing......  I s there any solution for the issue or i have to replace the router. The router is under warranty (DOP 01/Nov/2018).

How far is your PC from the router ? Any walls between your PC and the router ? If you leave the channel number and channel width on Auto what's the Wi-Fi speed ?

Recommended wireless settings:

@Mr.Toni distance from my pc to router is hardly 1 ft ..when I am choosing channel and width in auto mode still getting 20-22 Mbps speed... One more thing I am using one d link router using lan cable from this router and one range extender for my cctv DVR..

@Ivaylo after seeing the speedtest result you can understand the problem

Can you power off the extender and the other router for a while and do the speedtest again to exclude any Wi-Fi interference or bottlenecks ?

From the screenshot of speedtest I saw that from time to time you are getting proper speeds. Have you tried to use some kind of a Wi-Fi analyzer to see if there's a big congestion of Wi-Fi APs near you ?
