Sorry for the delay.
For the TL-WA850RE, it is 2.4ghz only; so If the main is 2.4ghz/5ghz, it might not be a suitable device.
And Due to the half-duplex over-the-air modulation techniques, data from the main router to PC passes through the WA850RE and WA850RE needs to “receive” data from the router first then “send” it to PC. Since “receive” and “send” cannot be carried out simultaneously, the final internet speed would be half of the home router;
