RE305 V1 can't connect to some channels on my ISP provider cable modem/wifi router
Hi everyone!
I changed my ISP provider and their router, a KaonMedia CG3000, sometimes the 5 Ghz channel (when configured to auto mode) enters on channels that looks like the RE305 V1 can't connect.
This could be easily noticed as the range extended 5 Ghz network gets not available. For example, when the original modem/router enters on channel 116, the RE305 can't connected.
I already reloaded the latest firmware available for RE305 at tplink website in Brazil (my country), but this does not solve the trick.
There is any firmware that put the correct allowed channels for 5Ghz networks for Brazil available from tplink? I noticed that the latest firmware is already 2 years old. Any way to have a newer version for it?
At this moment, I'm using a fixed channel 40 that enable the extender to work, but this does not look to be the best solution.
Thanks in advance.
