Just purchased this modem router. Setup for use with Plusnet ISP.

 

The unit will not connect checked user name and password all correct as per my old TP-LInk route which does connect and work.

 

Can not get any sense from TP-Link help emails.

 

Any advise or settings to check?

 

Settings

 

  • Plusnet_VDSL
  • VLAN 101
  • PPPoE
  • Username   xxxxxx@plusnetdsl.net

Hello, thanks for asking.

 

Can you please confirm what is the current hardware version and firmware version of your VR400? If it is V2, please try to downgrade to the previous Archer VR400(EU)_V2_170719 version, then reconfigure it to connect to the Plusnet line.

Hardware Archer VR400 v3 00000001

 

The router firmware version is 1.2.0.0.9.1 c00a1.0  Build 200909. Rel 74787n

 

My ISP is Plusnet

Can you please try to downgrade to the previous version Archer VR400(EU)_V3_200518 and confirm if you can set up the internet on the VR400?
