Good morning,

Both my wife and I work from home.  She wants a LAN line rather than WIFI.  So I am having the electrician run a Ethernet cable to her office and running another one to the living room for the entertainment center.  I will need a switch for each room and a third for my office as my current router only has 5 ports.

I am looking at TL-SG105 or TL-SG105E.  Any suggestions on which one to use?

Thank you.

@frrobert

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

If the main purposes are to extender the ports and Ethernet connection, TL-SG105 would be enough;

TL-SG105 is plug and play with no configuration needed;

Comparing with TL-SG105, 105E had some software features, such as MTU/Port/Tag VLAN, Quality of Service;

Thanks a lot.
