[Solution] Weak secuirty issue on the IOS system

Background:
Some of you may have updated your Apple devices to the latest iOS 14 version and get a “Weak Security” warning message when connecting to the Deco network.
Why Deco network is displayed as “Weak Security”?
Deco by default secured your wireless network with a mixed WPA/WPA2-AES/TKIP security, and the previous firmware was not allowed to manually configure the security mode. While iOS14 and some new operating systems consider other than the latest WPA3 and WPA2 AES to have security issues.
Solution:
1.The latest firmware version has allowed users to manually configure the security mode; Please make sure that you have updated Deco to the latest firmware;
2.Please ensure you are running the latest Deco app on your phone;
Then Launch your Deco app->MORE->Wi-Fi, tap the password box and you will be able to change the Security Type:
Note:
1.Sometimes Deco APP might fail to get the latest firmware upgrade notification, please also check on the local official website to ensure you have the latest firmware;
2. After changing the security mode to WPA2-PSK (AES) only, If some of your old IoT devices cannot connect to the Deco network anymore, you could change the security back to the mixed WPA2-PSK (AES)+WPA-PSK (TKIP) as your devices might not support the newer AES version.

I have the s20 5g and it says that I have wifi 6 in the top right corner but how come I can't get the WiFi 6 speeds close/near to 1.2gbps. I have gigabit speeds from fios 940dl/880up
I get only 500-650mbps ish download and 374-400 mbps upload.
Also notice 5ghz isn't using or has 160mhz and the channels that it would provide.
Please add 40mhz channel width for 2.4ghz and 160mhz channel width (ax) for 5ghz with 50,114 channels, fix auto channel selection algorithm and or add manual channel width and channel selection for both WiFi bands.
Not having 160mhz channel width is hurting the speeds. adding support for it in a update would allievate congestion issues with others in the area.
Lastly please fix WPA3 so it is backwards compatible with all WPA2 devices as well.
These features in a firmware update would make this router even better and great. Please consider to do this, your mesh wifi system would be amazing then.

This firmware seems to have fixed my constant issues with my nest cameras and new google chromecast from dropping off the wifi several times a day.
Thanks I guess, even if it took sooooo long.

Hi, what kind of privacy warning? Can I have a screenshot of it? Is it on an iOS14 also?

Hi, thanks for the screenshot.
This actually is not related to the Deco network, it is the setting on your iPhone, you may turn on the Private Address on your iPhone as below:
