Hello,

So for a while, I have been unable to connect to my 5ghz wifi with my wifi adapter (I have been using it for over a year) and I decided to try to get this problem solved. I tried looking up for a solution to this issue but I haven't been able to find an answer. My phone is able to connect to the 5ghz wifi but for whatever reason, my wifi adapter can't.

I am hoping someone knows what the problem is and how to resolve it.

NOTE: I am using this on Windows 10 ver. 1909

@chaithep3

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Did the 2.4ghz still work well?

Were you still able to detect the 5ghz, just failed to connect, and is there any error message?

And did you update the windows to be 10 recently? As for the WDN4800, it does not support windows10, only XP/vista/7/8/8.1?

Thank you very much.

@Kathy_Z After the past couple of days, it is still working well. However I was still unable to connect to my 5ghz wifi. The message it gave me when after entering the wifi password is "cannot connect to this network." I am not too sure what the current Windows 10 ver. is but I am currently on ver. 1909.
