I open this new thread to keep the discussion alive.
Support for OneMesh is "planned". Is there any disclosable forecasted availability date? Some threads opened in 2019... it's September 2020...
Second question: will it be compatible with EasyMesh?

I too have spent £ hundreds on TL-WPA8630P kit in good faith that it would be forwards compatible with OneMesh via a firmware update, based on information published by TP-Link. Do you have records or transcripts from product pages or customer support chats from 2020?

@TP-Link, sorry but this practice is completelly un-professional and disgusting ....
Many of users bought your PLC tranmitters JUST BECAUSE PROMISED OneMesh support, WTF?
Are you gonna deliver it or not? I need simple answer? I have invested to much time (not money, because money is "replacable", time not) to build up entire infrastructures based on TP-Link products... I have promised to my customers One Mesh soon.. and what ? "Soon" becamed one year already?
Just recently I saw that entire line is no longer produced ? Is that true? You are leaving us with this piece of sh... alone?
TP-Link please give us clear answes to my questions!

As confirmed with our team, really sorry to tell you currently there isn't a plan for TL-WPA8630 oneMesh firmware.

@Solla-topee I'm still waiting for your feedback. I've bought 1 kit with wpa8630p and now 2 wpa8631p with onemesh. The first kit costed me 150€ and I don't feel like throwing that money into the garbage...
I want to use it along with the 2 new units and I, like other people here, have also checked that you had that update planned through firmware update.

I see.. it is very unlikely I will buy the TL-WPA8631P to just add OneMesh.
Obviously, for any other network device, I'll keep TP-Link as a last resort, and I'll give same recommendation to all of my friends.
