Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.10

Hello,

I own 7 Tapo C200 cameras. 5 of them connected directly to Netmaster Infinity 401 router and 2 of them connected to TP-Link RE205 extender.

When a power cut occurs and electricity and wifi comes back again, in Tapo app only 2 cameras which connected to RE205 extender seems online.

5 cameras are shown as Offline when i use cellular data not local network

If i am outside and using cellular data , i can't get them work and see what is happening.

@Tolga.

Good day.

Sorry for the delay.

For your case, we might need your help to check the following information:

  1. When the power came back, accessing via local network, cameras would be all online, just 5 of 7 via cellular data offline, right?
  2. Did it happen after every power outage? or to the fixed cameras which connected to the main router, not RE205, or randomly 5 cameras?
  3. May I know what is the version number of the Tapo APP?
  4. What did you need to do to recover the online status, reboot the camera, or something else?

There are some suggestions for you:

  1. Change the DNS server on the router to be 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4;
  2. Reserve the fixed IP address for each camera;

Thank you very much.
