@Hubcap123.-_

Hello, thanks for requesting.

The wireless schedule feature is not available yet, and it is suggested to wait for the updates.

As you know, it is not always easy to release a new firmware as our developers need to evaluate the feasibility and do round and round tests to ensure its performance. I believe that you want a new firmware which is more powerful and much more suitable for most requests.

Or as RadiatingLight suggested, you may try to get a smart plug and set an on/off schedule on it, then plug the Deco into that smart plug, it will allow you to turn on/off the Deco at the scheduled period.

Thanks.

@Hubcap123.-_ You could get a smart light switch to automatically cut power from the Deco at night? (Unsure how you'd get it to resume power though, since it needs wifi for that)

Maybe do something with a raspberry pi and a relay if you're technically inclined?

Please do your customers a huge favor and implement it. Can't the team see it's the number one feature being asked since more than a year?

Any update? Just need option to turn off wifi in schedule mode, per deco. When connecting decos in AP mode, why is it hard to do?

@Hubcap123.-_ Hi All and TP-Link,

I have just bought the Deco M9 and seen that the turning WiFi off at night is a much requested feature since 2017 at least. It was slated as being developed and that it would be out in a future firmware once tested.

Is it possible that someone from Tp-Link could please advise if this is near completion? I am new to TP-Link and have been impressed by their support to date. However seeing that there are multiple threads requesting this since at least 4 years am slightly disappointed that there are no other updates regarding being abe to schedule turning off and on the WIFI signal during sleep. A key feature in my opinion especially in 2021!! Would lik eto know in case its not likely to be due as would source a system that is while i can still return the TP link. Love it for everything else.

Hope to hear back from someone who knows at Tp-Link Development team.

Thanks
