I have a TP-Link MC220L Gig media converter.
Do you know if the media converter repeats the signal, or is it just pass-through?
We will be using a SM-fiber SFP on one side, and 1000-Base-T on the other side.

The forwarding method of TP-Link media converters is Store-and-Forward. Besides, the MC220L can only process the Ethernet data.
