Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

The Setup:
Network: Modem > TP-Link Deco M4
PC: T2U & WN881ND

The problem:
Everyime I ping google or play games, I would get ping spikes at constant intervals. Averaging 30-50 Ping then spiking to 1000+ or timing out completely.

Both Adapters have this problem whteher they were connected to 2.4 or 5ghz.
The deco is updated and so are the drivers of the adapters.

When I use my mobile phone to act as a wifi tether things will work perfectly.

But I only experience the spikes when i use the adapters.

Please help, it's been driving me insane.

@Simon_T

Good day.

Sorry for the delay.

Could you please help me check the following information

  1. If the computer with T2U & WN881ND installed connected to the Wi-Fi of mobile hotspot/tethering, there is no Ping Spikes, and it only occurred when it is connected to Deco M4?
  2. Other devices with built-in wireless card had no such issue when connected to M4?
  3. Could you please help me check the system info and driver info of your computer, such as https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/?

And please also try to update the following driver for Archer T2U:
