Which one to buy? M4, S4 or M5? M5 Costs about 50£ more, but any difference between s4 and m4?

I'm struggling to see any difference between m4 and s4 to be honest?

Not really... Internals of both are the same but the form factor of S4 is smaller... I don't think it is necessary to replace your S4 with M4. You will be happy with S4. They both use same components like the radios etc.
If you really want performance improvements then go for M9 plus or AX series.
