Hi 

 

Im running a Windows 10 Dell precision tower.

 

im having a similar problem to a few posts ive seen.

 

When I connect my T4U to my computer its states that the "Device can perform faster when connected to USB 3.0"

 

From what I can see I have the latest drivers installed and my system is 100% up to date. 

 

Have you resolved this issue yet?

Good day,

Are you trying to say when the Archer T4U is connected to the USB3.0, the speed is not expected?

Or the wireless adapter is not detected when unplugged into USB3.0 port?

 

If it is the speed issue, could you please help me check the link speed on the computer, such as

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/

By the way, how much speed you are supposed to get from the main router?

@Roko101 It certainly seems to be evident that T4U usb 3 port is faulty or no connection is established with the usb 3 connectors of PC in spite of being connected to usb 3.... Its happening to me also... T4U usb 3 port is blocked somehow by tplink.. So port is getting connected by usb 2 mode.

The Archer T4U 3.20 doesn't go beyond USB 2.0 High Speed even when connected to a USB 3.0 port. Please fix this, I'm sure you know about this issue for years
