I have two sites very close to each other. I have recently installed a TPL Mesh system in my main residence which is all on one floor. I want to extend to granny flat approx 5m away. Will a Node placed in attic of granny flat connect to last node within main residence

Yes, you can add another Deco unit in the same mesh network and extend the network range to another sites, but ensure the wireless signal on the 2nd site should be good enough to remain the connection.
