Archer T3U Plus AC1300 keeps getting default gateway not available error on Win 10

Hello,
Not sure if there is an existing topic already opened regarding this issue, if there is please link me to it.
I have purchased the Archer T3U Plus AC1300 usb wifi adapter to use with my desktop computer running Windows 10. At first the system did not recognize the adapter so I had to download the drivers from the website using another computer. The drivers were downloaded from the following link: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-t3u-plus/#Driver
The adapter was working without any issues for a couple of minutes/hours and then I started losing my internet connection. Running Windows troubleshooting, the wifi adapter was reset and the reason that Windows gave was that "Default gateway not available". Similarly, If I unplug the adapter from the USB port and plug it back in, internet works again for a more couple of minutes. I've tried switching from all the USB ports - 2.0 or 3.0, front or back of the desktop - but they all gave the same result. The power saving options is disabled for the adapter as well.
I'm very close to the router and other laptops / phones in the house do not have any issue.
Could you please help me figure out why the adapter is always losing the connection?
Thank you.

Good day.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I am not sure why I tested it before I send out and it was ok, after sending it, it failed.
Any more, I will send you it again.
By the way, we had another feedback about the same error: default gateway not available error on Win 10.
And there is another suggestion that you could have a check:
- Set up the static IP address on the router; and if possible, please reserve the static IP address for the computer on the main router;
Thank you!

Good day.
Thank you for your patience.
For your case, could you please help us check the following information:
- What is the IP address when the computer lost internet connection?
- Could you please help us check the system info on the computer
- What Is the model number of your main router?
- Did both 2.4ghz and 5ghz have the same issue?
Then , please refer to the following suggestions:
- Change the advanced settings of the main router, such as channel 11, channel width 20mhz for 2.4ghz, channel 40, channel width 40mhz for 5ghz;
- Update to the following driver: https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201911/20191128/00011389-RTLWlanU_WindowsDriver_1030.29.1102017_DUA_tplink_0719.L (1).zip
Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

@Kathy_Z Hello Kathy,
I was able to download the drivers. I couldn't start the setup file since I get a NSIS Error - Error launching installer.
Nevertheless I was able to update the drivers using the ones on the Windows_10_64bit folder.
So far everything is working. If it stops working I'll try the static IP address. I'll advise you if the connection drops again.
Thank you,

@Kathy_Z As everything is working so far without any issues, I'll mark your post as the solutions. The drivers did it for me.
Thank you again for your support!
