Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 200706

I'm hoping someone can help here, I have this loverly new Archer router VR400 with 3g/4g fallback and a brand new Hauwei E3372 4g Dongle.  Both work well indipendantly, however the router will not see the 4g dongle.

Internet Status:

Please confirm that your SIM card has been inserted into the modem correctly.

I'm pretty sure the two are compatible, as people are selling them as a pair on the internet.  I have upgraded the router to the latest firmware with no success

@Wizzzzard

Good day.

Thank you very much for your patience.

May I have a picture of the error message?

And have you already inserted a sim card to the USB dongle?

If possible, could you please connect the USB dongle to the computer directly to see if that would work properly?

Moreover, Did you reset the VR400 once to see if that helped?

By the way, can I have a link that you found on the internet that people are selling them as a pair on the internet?

Thank you very much and have a nice day.

I have now sent this router back to the supplier, because after a disappointing conversation with support here, it appears the E3372 dongle is incompatible with the VR400 Which leads me to my next question, which vdsl router is compatible or is there a router that comes with a sim slot to use it without the modem?

@Wizzzzard

Good day.

Really sorry for the inconvenience.

Maybe you could have a look at our 3/4G LTE modem, such as Archer MR200/MR400:

Thank you very much!
