Please update the firmware of all your Deco M9 again using the tool. Run in compatibility mode under windows 10 Download the update tool from here :

Download the firmware 1.4.0 from here :

Ok i will try that. Changing the SSID was what i wanted to avoid as i have many smarthome devices but if thats the last resource, I’ll do it. Will try the hotspot first with the same ssid.

The link you give me seems to be for V2, my Deco is version V1.1, i was checking the support download page, and if i choose V1.1, theres no firmware downloads, only for V1 and V2 .... now im confused ....

 

Ok seems V1.1 use the same firmware as V1, but when i choose my location (Hong Kong) the firmware list doesnt match what i have, last update was 2019, and uses the EU firmware, when the label on my Deco shows its a US version .....

 

Shuld i just go with the global site ?

I tried to run thi update tool in windows 10, choose compatability mode to win 7, even if not choosing this option, it will scan and never find any Decos ...

It won't work for v1 or v1.1

This tool was specifically designed for V2. For v1/v1.1 use the app to update. 

 

You can even download the latest firmware from the Tp-Link official website and use the web management to update by accessing

Just an update, after trying everything, i cant solve the problem with this devices, i guess that the new firmwares are not compatible with Deco M9, too bad, guess i need to sell the M9 and look for something better.
