Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Recently I moved to a bigger house and need to boost my wifi network. In order to do that I bought 2 TP Link Deco M4 to expand the network. The problem is that afer that there is absolutely no way to sonos app to find the play 1. Tried everything including resetting the system, changing the router to access point, offlining the 5,0 ghz band and nothing Works. Tryed to connect with ethernet cable buy no success.

Can someone help?

Hello,

Can you please confirm below and we will try to fix it:

1. What is your network layout? How are the two Deco M4 connected to the network? We do receive some customer feedback that changing the Deco into AP mode helps, can you please confirm again and ensure the main Deco M4 is in AP mode.

2. Who is your ISP and what is the model number of your modem or router? Without the Deco M4, was the Sonos Play 1 speaker working fine in your network?

3. With the Deco M4 plugged in and works in the network, is it possible to take a short video of the Sonos app and the Play 1 status when they are not talking to each other?

4. Try to disable beamforming and fast roaming on the Deco app, then confirm again.

5. Is it OK to get the Sonos Play 1 version? Please ensure both your Sonos app and Play 1 are running the latest version.

Good day.
