High Ping Spike When Gaming

I recently bought the Wifi Extender for 3 days and connected to my Desktop(Ethernet Cable) and Laptop(Extender Wifi). When i use directly my ISP router it doesn't have high ping and when i connect the wifi extender, sometimes my ping will spike to 300+ for few seconds and back to normal .

Good day.
Thank you for your concern.
Since the range extenders connect to the router wirelessly, due to the Wi-Fi interference and half-duplex over-the-air modulation techniques, the ping delay would be a little longer that the router.
So we might need your help to get more details about the high ping:
Could you please provide us the following pictures:
- The ping test when the Gaming computer connected to the Wi-Fi of the router;
- Ping test when the Gaming computer connected via Ethernet cable to RE200;
- Ping test when the Gaming computer connected to the 5G band of RE200;
And may I know the distance between the router and RE200?
Thank you~

Good day.
Sorry for the delay.
For the RE200, it has 1 x 10/100M Ethernet Port (RJ45).
https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/range-extender/re200/#specifications
So the Ethernet link speed is up to 100M/s.
Thank you very much!
