Model: Archer A10
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

We purchased the Archer AX10, and our ISP is Cox, we have the high speed 150bpms internet, on our devices, 2 IPhones, Firesticks, Wife's laptop it works great with download and upload speeds at the proper level, 145-160.  However on my laptop, Dell Isperion 5759, it wont test over 12bpms.

At our old house, all devises worked great to include my laptop, we had a Aris modem/router combo.

Router works well with covering 2250sqft house and seems relieable, except with my laptop.

Cant seem to get a resolve from either TP-link or Dell.

Dont know if there is a setting that I must adjust or what the issue is.

I see others have same issue, and comments appear to be that its not capatiable, so is this just a situation to where it is what it is and nothing can be done?

Thank you

@Carmvr

Hello,

May I know the model number of the wireless card on your Dell Inspiron 5759? Is it a Wi-Fi 6 adapter? What is the link speed between this Dell Inspiron 5759 with the AX10? Please refer to the below link to confirm it:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/

If the Dell Inspiron 5759 is connected to the AX10 5G network, please try to change the 5G wireless mode to 802.11a/n/ac mixed, then reboot the router and confirm.

Thanks.

The link speed it shows is 325Mbps and the wireless card is WiFi 5 (802.11ac) So are you saying that I can go into the properties and change that setting then reboot, that should solve the issue? Thank you
