Hello, we are sorry to hear that you have trouble with the adapter. We will try our best to help you identify and solve the issue.
Please help us get the following information:
1. How often does this issue happen? How far away from the router to the computer?
2. Which band has the unstable connection? Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band Wi-Fi?
3. Do you have a stable connection from router on other Wi-Fi devices ?
If so, please change the Wi-Fi channel of the main router. Please change 2.4GHz channel to be 1 or 6 or 11; the 5GHz channel to be 36 or 40 or 44 and save them.
Or you can download WI-FI analyzer on your phone to test the empty Wi-Fi channel around and change the channel to be empty for both bands.
Then please check if the same issue happens again.
4. When the connection lost, was the Wi-Fi still connected but no internet / completely disconnected/got some Errors message? What is the Error message? 5. If WI-FI connected but no internet, what is the IP address and default gateway? https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/838/
6. The connection manually reconnects itself, right?
7. What is the model number of your Wi-Fi router?
8. Please send us a photo of the driver version and computer system information by referring to this FAQ : https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/
Thank you for your precious time.
Wish you a nice day.
