Hi, may I know the Linux System of your PC?
This adapter can only support Linux (kernel 2.6.24 ~ <4.9.60)
Your issue is that you have installed the driver successfully on the PC, but you can't connect this network even you can see it, right?
Can you check if you can connect other networks on the PC?
You can try to change the 2.4GHz channel of main router to 1 or 6 or 11 to check if it works.
May I know the distance between the router and the PC? Does it work when you move the PC more closely to the router?
May I know when and where you bought the adapter?
Look forward to your reply.
Good day!

I use Linux Mint 18.3 and installed linux kernel 4.9.60 and gcc version 5.4.0 And You Have stopped replying me and i think you cant make latest linux drivers for TL-WN822N
I have lost every single hope because i cant compile the drivers even in the proper kernel and cant you make drivers for latest kernels of linux
Very bad customer support and henceforth i will never buy and recommend any one tp-link .
hope you make new drivers for LINUX.

Good day, Really sorry for the inconvenience.
We did not have the Linux driver for Mint 18.3, only Linux (kernel 2.6.18 ~ 3.10.10).
And the chipset of 822N V5 is RTL8192EU so that you could have a check on the chipset manufacture and some reliable third party forum like Github to find the suitable driver.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
