Extender RE305 shows not in range even with 10ft away from router and also doesnt let GUI login
I recently bought a RE305 extender and it behaving strangely, I keep the main router just 10ft away from the extender and it shows the distance is too much in the tether app. I tried resetting it many times but still it says good signal strength only if its almost 5-6 ft from the router. Also the admin page does not open through the GUI. I tried option as suggested in https://www.tp-link.com/in/support/faq/87/ but still even when i try to open through IP address it shows 'Cant reach this page' error. Can anyone help, i am not able to update the firmware since i am not able to open GUI
