I've just plugged in a UB400 Bluetooth adaptor, tried everything to connect my ps4 controller wirelessly (works fine wired) but it wont find it when I go to 'add a device'.

 

So far:

- Tried installing remote play

- Tried installing ds4 windows and using their controller connect

- Removing conflicting drivers

- Hard resetting my ps4 controller

 

Any other suggestions on getting this working? Im struggling here!

Hi!

For your case, could you please help me check the following information:

  1. Did you use the UB400 on the computer and try to connect to the Bluetooth of the PS controller on the PC?
  2. If the computer could not detect the Bluetooth signal of the PS controller, could it find other Bluetooth signals, like your mobile phone?
  3. If disconnecting the Bluetooth connection with other devices on the PS controller, would PC be able to find the Bluetooth signal?

@Rovio I was facing the same issue

 

BT usb dongle was working perfectly with other devices but the PS4 controller was not shown in the bluetooth available devices (even if I installed the Sony Remote Play application and it worked properly when attached to an USB port)

 

The solution was to reset the current BT connection on the PS4 controller pushing the PS and Share buttons at the same time (the color bar started to flash) then the BT usb dongle was able to show it in the list and to sucessfully manage the pairing
