My new LS105G switch does not support DHCP requests from connected PC.

Direct connection from PC to Router with a lan cable works fine.

Using the LS105G switch, DHCP will not work.

The rest of communication is OK.

Can somebody help?

Hi, for your issue, we would like to confirm the below information:

 

When the PC or other wired devices connect LS105G, can they get internet?

Can you follow the instruction to check the IP address, default gateway when the PC connects the switch? https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/838/

How about the IP address and gateway when the PC connects the router?

Hello Kathy,

there is no connection to Router if i am using your switch.

Therefor there is no connection to Internet.

My Ip address with your Switch 169.254....

Ip adress direct connected to Router 192.168.....

 

Meanwhile I have ordered the D-Link DGS-105.

With this device I have no problems.
