It’s been a frustrating day....I have bought a wifi repeater and have spent most of today trying to get the repeater to link to my virgin media box, have followed the advice that it could take a few resets via WPS on both devices but they will not connect, have factory reset the repeater and rebooted all systems.....any advice would be greatly rece

Hello, 

Please follow the instruction to log into the web page and tell me the current hardware and firmware version:
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1398/

 

If the RE650 firmware is not the latest one, please update it first:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/re650/#Firmware

 

And then please reset and reconfigure it and check whether it works: 
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1400/

Note: check and ensure the wireless password from the virgin media box is 100% correct.

 

If there is still only power light on, please relogin and show us the full screenshot of the status page. And please export the system log to us which you can find on the settings-system tools-system log and please tell me the model number of the main router.
