It has got 3 green lights but when I plug it into my xbox it just doesn't connect to the wifi

Please try different devices connect to the PA4010, then check if all the devices can't get the Internet from it.
How many powerline products do you have?
For the PA4010 unit, it doesn't support wifi function.
Note: The model begins with TL-PA xx doesn't support WIFI function.
Only the model begins with TL-WPA xx supports WIFI function.
